Thompson Engineering, Inc. is a family owned Civil Engineering and Land Surveying Company started by Lyle Thompson in 1973. Lyle is a native of Southeast Idaho, born and raised in Madison County. Lyle has worked for many public and private companies in the Northwest, including the State of Idaho and State of Utah Department of Highways.

South Fork Plaza - Rigby, Idaho
South Fork Plaza is located in the Rigby Town Square Commercial Subdivision, on the North side of Rigby, Idaho. There are three commercial buildings that sit on four commercial lots. The West building was designed for a Professional Business; the Center building was designed for Box outlet stores, and the East building was designed for a Restaurant. One of the challenges with this project was the overhead power lines that run over this property. The Parking was situated under the overhead lines to utilize space. Thompson Engineering designed the Parking lot layout and grade, the location and finished elevations of the Commercial Buildings, and performed the construction staking for this project.
